Insight Manager

Role and responsibilities:
  • Support both qualitative and quantitative market research projects (study design, questionnaire development, fielding and analysis)
  • Help manage online insight communities for brands in Hong Kong
  • Support online and offline insight activities on forums, live chats, focus groups, surveys and occasionally workshops
  • Check & collect data and feedback from the activities, analyzing and summarizing findings for clients
  • Use images, photos, verbatim and other data to build stories
  • Guide clients through the process of creating and maintaining a community, developing a customised branded portal and managing the recruitment and recruited members
  • Oversee deployment of online and offline activities e.g. surveys, forums, live chats, focus groups
  • Check & collect data and feedback from the activities, analyzing and summarizing findings for clients
  • Turn insights into compelling stories, with a strong focus on storytelling to help clients better understand and activate findings
  • Around 3-5 years project and account management experience
  • Has a flexible mindset to apply qualitative and quantitative methods of enquiry - blending approaches to release the full potential of a community
  • Is genuinely curious about what makes people tick, likes to ask people questions, and can communicate their hypotheses and ideas openly
  • Committed to getting a job done well, positive outlook, collaborative attitude
  • Confident presence, presentation and public speaking skills
  • Ideally has professional experience or exposure to market research, online communities, social media or other forms of digital engagement
  • Excellent verbal and written English and Chinese
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to multitask
